  1. Here are the last set of pictures, for now..., of my interior dome light upgrade- Please feel free to comment or ask questions if you have either. Lastly,I plan to add blue LED's to both the gas/brake pedal area and the passenger footing area, which I'll wire to be able to dimm with the dimmer switch.
  2. I'm getting everything off of ebay; for the White, Amber, and Blue 3157's LED bulbs and necessary 50W/6Ohm resistors I used the seller LED_option. I also used that same seller for my 194, necessary 25W/25Ohm resistors, and 912 LED bulbs. For the 3157 White/Amber Switchback LED's I used the seller motoringmax. Finally for the 921 Third Brake light LED's I used the ebay seller Kaizenmotor. All other LED interior bulbs were purchased by a combination of these same three ebay sellers. They ship fast, have quality products, and have good customer service. Hope that answers your question, also I hope it wasnt overkill... lol
  3. Here are the Reverse lights installed- Here are the rearside marker White LED's I went with(194's)- The required 25W/ 25 Ohm resistors- (Sorry I forgot to take a picture of them installed, will do so at a later date and update the post.) Here are the BLUE License plate LED lights packaged then installed(Also 194's).-
  4. I'll take pics of how to install the resistors and give my opinion on where to attach them to. I'll do that later this week if I can, but by this following upcoming weekend at the latest.
  5. Here are the tail lights: Packaged bulbs (notes- I ordered 2 extra sets in case of them burning out down the road, I also reused my AMBER 3157's I previously had as the front directionals for my rear turn signals) The required 50W/ 6Ohm Resistors for the turn signals- Tail lights after installation- Here they are with the Hazards on, the picture doesnt do them any justice. They are brighter than OEM.
  6. Ok I will, For the most part they are simply plug and play with the exception of the turning signal LED bulbs needing inline resistors to prevent Hyper Flashing. I'm willing to answer any questions on how to, what resistors are needed, and how I installed them for anyone interested out there.
  7. I also upgraded the entire Third Brake light's contents. Here are the White LED's I used as recieved then installed: Cargo lights- Third Brake lights-
  8. Here is the video of them in action, please forgive me the crappy quality...-
  9. About a few weeks back I posted the 1st light upgrade for my truck and now here is the completion of the light upgrade. I replaced my Amber 3157 front directionals with Switchback White/ Amber 3157 and let me say that I DONT REGRET THAT ONE BIT! See for yourselves: Here they are packaged- Here they are installed- I have a video which I will try to post on the next reply...
  10. Are you talking about the hard plastic ones that are on the exterior or the silicone black ones internally? Oh and what type of AC controls do you have? Digital, Knobs, or the vertical switches? I have a friend who has an extra, vertical switch, AC control unit he would be willing to part out or even sell.
  11. Thats awesome man, get some pics up when you install them to see what they look like in white. Pretty sure they'll look super bright and bad ass! Don't mention it man glad I could help.
  12. Don't remove his schrader valves, do the following: Find small pebbles that fit in the cap itself , but still depress the valve stem when the cap is on. Replace all of his caps with one's fitted with pebbles. What this does is it will deflate his tires slowly and this dude will not know whats going on, if he has his valve stems replaced, then just keep doing it.... lol My Friend did this to another neighbor because he kept Parking his HUGE RV in front of his house. My bud asked him nicely many times to please not park there but since it was on the street and public property he didnt listen. The RV owner wouldnt have any car in his drive way or in front of his house but still parked in front of my buds house. By buddy kept this up for like six months and the guy went through 3 sets of tires, 2 sets of rims, and who knows how many Valve Stems!
  13. Not 100%, but I want to say no. In my opinion, you are having more LED's use up the same Voltage and draw more Amps. So maybe less LED's could be more focused... ? However, LED's dont use up much amperage so more could be better...? Comparing pictures of the 18 LED and the 30 LED bulb both lit, it looks to me that the 18 LED looks a bit brighter.[
  14. I used 211-2 LED bulb for the dome light, 578 bulbs for the exterior courtesy lights, 168/194 LED's for the map lights.
  15. I'd go for the LED Tv, I've had a Samsung 46 " LCD for 4 years now and love it! We have a Samsung Blu-ray and the picture quality of a Samsung is hands down the best. We also own a 46" Sony LCD and it doesnt compare.
  16. I agree, you should hang on to your truck but if need be... GET A G8 GT! I almost got a Striker Blue G8 GT but the owner changed his mind at the last minute. That car is sick!
  17. Dont mention it, I volunteered to serve. Hey how much would you charge to do my Air bag switch to blue LED's? I'll send you the (3) blue LED's so that they match the rest. Thanks for the compliment on my SSS, you have a sick chevy yourself! I'll keep up the good work as long as I have the funds to keep my addiction to my truck going... lol
  18. Your too late bro, I already did them myself. I did everything but the damn airbag switch... Didnt want to break it while opening. I fixed communication gear in the Marines down to component/circuit card repair for 5+ years and so I had some experience with it. Thanks though, I hear you do great work.
  19. I bought the 3157's for my DRL's and they are awesome!
  20. I got them off of ebay through this seller, check the link. LED_Option ebay Seller Great service, I recieved my bulbs in 3 days!
  21. Thanks for the compliment, as for the fogs I bought them off of eBay for 100.00 total with an extra wiring kit and switch. My truck was already prewired for fogs so I didnt need the wiring and I bought the stock OEM switch and relay to make them work. The switch I bought from a local ac delco dealer and relay at autozone, both for like 65.00 bucks total. I had to make brackets for the lights to bolt on behind my brake ducts, for info on that check out the "How-to" section. Just know that I didn't cut the ducts and it works out better because I haven't gotten flashed by oncoming traffic yet.
  22. Yes, I installed the resistors for each turn signal bulb so that didn't hyper flash. I don't want to jinx myself but the cops here in this small city are pretty relaxed about the lights. We will see though, I carry around the silvania 4114's that I replaced just in case.
  23. I have all (High/Low and Fogs) 10,000K 35W Slim HID Got them from ebay for 49.99 a kit. Here is the link to the ebay seller and a 9006 35W slim digital Kit. 9006 HID Kit I've had the 9006 kit on my truck for over a year with no issues at all, I recommend them!
  24. Dont worry, in the end you own the chevy! Sometimes you have to lose to know what it feels like just so that winning is much sweeter the next time around!
  25. Actually that was it... Lol I plan on doing all LED upgrade to the tail lights & 3rd brake lights here shortly. When I do I'll add to this post.
