RPO code in glove box should tell you what you hsve if its stock. Stock tranny on sss are 4L65e. As far as checking if its aftermarket then I.wont know more about that. GL dude

Its on the Discovery Channel Ruben, shows called american underworld. A dude that goes under with guys that do GTAs, I.D. Theft, and pimps lol. Good show, this episode they boosted a rcsb silvy, ss front and sick wheels, nice drop. Thses dudes switched out the pcm and took it in 2 mins. Chopped it and sold it as a new truck with a new vin.
