  2. welcome from st. peters, mo! used to live in columbia, will be there in october actually for a buddies wedding!
  3. i would say your best bet is to keep it under or right at 2000 rpms, i did that coming back from the lake which is about 2xx miles and got 19 all the way
  4. stay with at&t and get the new blackberry bold in august!
  5. my soon to be wife drove my truck the first part of this week and she has driven it before but we have been talking about getting her a new car, so she tells me that she wants my truck!! wtf so.... thinkin about letting her have my truck and getting a dmax????????? crazy i know but i could still drive the sss anytime.
  6. Alright my reply might sound a bit crazy but i will just tell you.. the same thing was happening to me pretty often, my truck is completely stock, it would stall out on me just like it does you. I cleaned the MAF, checked the battery and alternator, took it to the dealer (couldnt figure it out). then one day i come into work not noticing anything, come out at lunch and there is a lake of coolant under the truck. water pump went out. so i replaced the water pump and it hasnt died on me since. i dont know if that was the cause of it or anything but lol it has worked for me
  7. 32.2 seconds on my second try
  8. he also said that he has replaced a ton of upper intake gaskets on these 03 thru 06 trucks especially the 6.0 motors
  9. gonna check that out tonight hopefully, i did just call the service manager out at the dealership i bought it from and have been takin it to when before when it was dying and he said that i would have a hard brake pedal, which i dont, or there might be a line colapsing somewhere
  10. where is the vacum booster diaphram?
  11. Also, if you're already at a stop (in drive), release and press the brake several times in a row. If it dies just from that, you may have a bad vacuum booster diaphram. this has got to be it! I have tried all of those other alternatives, checked battery, alternator, had it in to the dealer, cleaned intake, maf, everything else i could think of and it still does this. I have been having this problem since the day i bought the truck almost a year ago! and a year later and multiple visits to the dealer i have yet to figure it out! i am def gonna try this on the way home, but if my memory serves me correctly, when it dies on me it has been in stop and go traffic!
  12. came across this in an email today, thought it was pretty cool. A lot of cool paint, who knows how much something like this cost to put together! not sure if it has ever been posted but i think i have seen it before somewhere, anyways here are the pics
