2006 V-Max....30k miles on it

not a whole lot as of yet....mostly some stereo upgrades. Pulled out the factory bose 7 speaker setup and now have JVC deck (with sirius module) and type-r components up front with type-s 6.5's in the back, running off an alpine v-power amp. Awaiting my next addition of a sub under the small rear seat. The only other upgrade I have is an AFE Stage 2 Pro-Dry intake. When I pass my journeyman instrumentation exam, I am buying myself a tune for my gift to me KJT13, as for shovelling the driveway....when I took these pictures, it was -35F so I just kinda let it pile up until it warms up a little. For the record, its all clean now

he's tellin me i'll pick up 50 miles per tank at least I agree, I dont see any reason to screw with it, but I just wanted to see if anyone else had heard such a thing

hey guys, picked up my new AFE intake today and when I did the guy behind the counter was telling me that I should drop the heat of my plugs by a step and drop the gap on them by 1 thou. He said truck will run much better and be much better on gas by doing this. Has anyone here ever heard of this or is it crap?

hey guys, i'm looking at getting a CAI, as you can see from my other post. However, I live in northern canada and I am wondering how it will affect my truck when it is -35. Should I switch back to stock intake for winter?? any info would be greatly appreciated

does anybody know anything about afe cai's? They're selling them here in town for approximately 300 bucks and they are on summitracing for approx $318. I'm looking to get an AEM but am considering the AFE simply because they have them in stock here.

heres a pic of mine the day i bought it, sept 07. I've seen added vent visors, hood deflector and wife bought me a westin bull bar. I'm waitin for some more cash to get westers tune and approx 2" lift (or maybe just levelling kit...undecided) See if i can get some more updated pics before it snows up here in northern canada

the mod bug had me when i was 19 with my old 4.3TBI Sonoma.....7 years later, it still got me figured i'd post a pic.....only one i have it from the day i took it for a test drive...looks a little different now as i've added hood deflector, vent visors, chrome gas cap and removed that nasty plate from the front

found this place as i was looking for info on my 2006 v-max......i've always had s10s before, but recently switched to the 06 v-max. hope to learn a few things here Nick
