  1. Welcome from another fellow SSS/F-Body owner!
  2. Sent you a PM. He's not a vendor on here, but I don't believe any of the vendors sell stalls (I hope not anyway)... so shouldn't be an issue.
  3. With the XR275HR, stock lifters should be fine. I would think 30-36lb injectors would be safe. In my LS1 I was running a Torquer V2 with stock lifters and injectors (28lb in the LS1) and they were maxing at 89% duty cycle. A little high on it, but no issues... I would think the 30-36lb and your proposed setup, you should be well below that. You would be fine using LS6 springs or 918's. For the torque converter, I'd say something in the 2800 territory would be a good match. I've had several good experience with Circle D Specialties. Chris is a really nice guy and really helpful. If you message him what you want, he can get you set up with what would be best for your setup.
  4. Welcome to the site. Always love seeing other Arrival Blues
  5. Awesome story. Welcome to the site!
  6. Depending on a few things (shape of your wheels and tires and your willingness to meet in the middle) I may be interested in trading my silvers for your chromes. I was actually in Bloomsburg last weekend during the Penn Dutch Rally. Two of our stops were Marley's Brewery and the Rupert Covered Bridge. the mid-point would be around Bedford. Let me know If you might be interested and we can swap some pics and see if it's something we both want to do.
  7. Welcome to the site. You'll find all sorts of good advice here for whatever questions you come up with,
  8. Mine had one on it when I bought it. It was a Leer 100XQ. It was really nice. Just not my style. I ended up selling it, buying a Tonneau and making a couple hundred bucks. I will say, it did come in handy when hauling crap, or taking the dogs for a ride. It had a pretty nice roof rack, carpeted ceiling, brake light, crank Windows...it was pretty decked out.
  9. Sorry, I haven't been on the site for a while, and I'm just now seeing your post. As Jason and Darien already stated, Severe Gear 75W90 is correct for both diffs. You would need to get 4qt total. It takes 3 pints (1.5qt) in the front and 4.2 pints (2.1qt) in the rear. You don't need the additive. For the Trans, you need 6qt of the Signature Series Fuel-Efficient ATF (W/ the Blue Cap), and a new filter. AMSOIL carries the Wix 58847 filter, but you can usually get the same one cheaper. Also, if you want to do the transfer case, the NVG-149 takes 4.4pt (2.2qt) of the ATF, so you would need to get 3 more qt. AMSOIL recommends the Signature Series Multi-Vehicle ATF (has the red cap), or Torque-Drive ATF for it. Their top recommendation is the blue cap, but I have the Torque-drive in my SS and my Trans Am, and have never had an issue running it in either. If you don't have someone local to cut you a deal, let me know. I can usually ship it straight to you for around the same, or a little cheaper than if you pay retail for it local.
  10. Too bad you aren't closer to WV. I'd like to trade my Silvers for a set of chromes...20", or 22"
  11. I may be interested in the slave 6-cd changer. My dad needs one for his Denali. Let me know if you pick it up and it has a working changer.
  12. Yup. Definitely some factors I didn't bother to account for. I just used the lazy version of dividing the miles by the hours, lol.
  13. Average MPH for Alan = 29.95 Average MPH for Damian = 29.46 Average MPH for Me = 33.20 Average MPH for Richard = 46.03 Not a whole lot of city driving in yours, that's for sure.
  14. 2003 Arrival Blue Metallic 92,588 miles. 2789.1 hr.
  15. I feel your pain man. I had the same issue with my silver birch back in the day. I ended up getting a black one and saying the heck with it. you'll likely have to get one and have it painted, if you want it to match.
  16. Bless you. I did mine, including the tonneau and was stiff as a board for the next few days. Lol. Can't beat the look of a freshly waxed SSS though.
