sounds kinda like your 2-4 band is bad. I would say that would be more then likely. If it starts doing it when shifting to overdrive, I would say that would be it more then likely. Although U will have a hard time trying to find a tranny guy who will jus replace the band.<Should be around $500 for that repair. They all want to rebuild the whole thing and collect your 2 grand. ~Danny

the theory on a supercharger, would be, creating more air then your engine actual consume. If the electric supercharger can produce more "CFM", then your engine use's. you would build boost. then it would work. But... I Highly doubt they make an elctric fan that can produce that amount of air and still be feesible to mount. ~Danny

sound's like a good trade. What motivated your granpa to buy it anyway? I never see young people w/SSS truck's. ~Danny

prolly bad fuel, change out your fuel filter often, change gas stations, dont run your truck on "E". Use A High quality fuel system cleaner, BG products, ie 44k. or gm top engine clean. If You get the Injectors profesionally cleaned as soon as it starts running rough, that may help. ~Danny

Let Me Know What You Guys Think About This
riddle replied to SSThunder's topic in Suspension & Brakes
I may have not been doing this kinda work proffessionally as long as most Tech's. but.... I have never seen one ( especially a newer one) that was that seized. Try to use a ( BOLT OUT ) extractor socket. they have them at SEARS, craftsman brand. that should do it for sure. I bet you jus cant get a good enough grip. ~Danny -
lol. yeh I should wet the tires next time. I didn't wet them that time cause I didn't think I would need to. Plus I thought it would be cheap. Show's what I know, LOL. It was like 50 degrees that day and I drove like 5mi, so maybe my tire's were to warm. I'll definately try to redeem myself Joe. (on the G-tech that day, the truck ran a 13.40, so theres some tunning left in it I hope) ~Danny

how did you time it???

Being from Alaska, I see wierd stuff like that all the time in tourist season. ~Danny And Yes, they think it looks good. My only qustion is: Where the hell is the bug deflector?
