  1. The only issue with a drop kit is choosing the right weight shocks. some ride really stiff in the rear. so I would call the vendor you are going to use and figure out what shocks you want in the back. I have to change my rears as the truck is to stiff back there.

  2. Glad you found it. Now its time for the 6 High Mod. I also have instructions and pics of how to do that with resistors. text if you want pics of where to place them. You will need to get a simple relay as well for the fogs, and fog light switch.

  3. Your right, this site was on the move constantly. I honestly am part of about 5 other groups on FB and there are members here there to. The ones I have talked to and sold things to thru FB SSS or just Silverado pages are very nice. I do agree, I asked a question about a week ago and still never got a response, I had to look on Google to find my problem and it was a easy factory 2 Amp fuse that blew for my steering wheel lights.

  4. Well I got a set of steering wheel controls to replace the ones that didnt light up and had some wear as I like everything to be perfect. everything was going smoothly until the damn lower right control wouldnt plug in. One of the plastic ends on the connector broke as I was grabbing the wire to try and plug it in. I look at it found a better way to to get more slack for those wires on the interweb, So I do that and then the controls lights will work and wont, but the function of the controls do.

Im pretty sure its just a short as I move the wires and the lights will flicker and then go off. Im so anal, I want some clarity to make sure im not missing anything else. Fuses are all good. Everything still works minus the lights on the retarded ebay controls. I should have gone thru Rock Auto.

I can get a brand new whole steering wheel control harness for $40 thru GM.

For anyone who wants to make it easier for themselves with the lower controls. Remove the airbag, and you will see wiring behind a metal plate. Thats the steering wheel control wiring. All you have to do is pull your plug thru the hole after your switches are out, and grab a wire loom each side and re route it and you no more struggling. When you are doing this, you will accidentally honk your horn a few times with the screw driver.

Warning, yuo do have to remove the air bag which is a 5 second thing, But they can go off. so dis connect your battery for atleast 10 minutes for the air bag to drain down before you do this. Then set the cover away from you as the inside of it still will hold a charge. If it goes off, it will not be at your face or near anyone.

Heres a video. would have saved me from having to get a new harness.

  5. Have two sets of 2004 OEM SSS taillights and third brake light. One is professionally painted with clear and the reverse lights area is left untouched. Third brake light is the same way. This set was used For the FD so they have a small hole in the reverse light area. That can be sealed and cant be seen.

The other set is from a 04 and those were lightly VHTd. Clear reverse as well. They look good, but if you want them Perfect, add some clear and your Good.

$65 for each whole set, there is Nothing broken.

Then I have the cargo and fog light switch for those who want foglights and want the factory piece.

I cant use it anymore or I would as my truck uses the right front duct for my intake.
    $30 shipped Sold!

Driverside headlight again nothing broken. It does have a small hole where my emergency light is once that is removed.

    Sold

What I have listed here and my other thread is all I have left.
