There is an interface available that will allow the use of steering wheel controls to the iPad. There is a video on YouTube that shows it. I'll see if I can find the product. I've never used it. -

A head unit is not needed however it makes it much easier. I used a head unit in mine. -

Almost forgot one cool thing. I can start the truck using the iPad too. My truck has Viper Smart Start and I've got the app on my iPhone and that iPad mini. It lets you start/stop the engine and lock/unlock doors. Not that I need to use it when I'm in the truck but it's a cool trick. -

Thank you for the compliments. A JVC head unit was used along with the proper harnesses and interface pieces. All the factory stuff still works like the steering wheel buttons, door chime and such. I've got a Phoenix Gold Titanium Series 5 channel amp hiding in the center console. The amp runs Morel speakers front and rear as well as a single 8" Kicker L7 hidden under the rear seat. The interior looks completely factory other than a tiny Morel badge on the front tweeters. -

Some of you may have seen this on the Facebook page. I figured I would share it here as well. This is my 2005 SSS with iPad mini installed. It's removable as I usually bring it in the house at night. The iPad mini is a live unit with AT&T data service which runs me about $15 a month. The iPad mini serves as my navigation using Google maps. It is also my music player via iTunes, Spotify, Pandora and iHeart Radio. It charges when docked in this kit. I've got a JVC head unit mounted down below which runs the show and can be used without the iPad. iPad removed... Please let me know if you all have questions. The only one invited was Elvis. We got married in a small drive thru in Vegas. Very easy. We had such a good time with no stress. When does Justin come home? If things here are good and we have money I'd like to come visit.

Believe it or not I already asked him the same thing! Except I told him to break his leg haha! And no they have military hospitals there too damn them! Brock is doing great, growing like a weed. He's already in 9 month clothes and hes barely 4 months ugh!! I think I'm going to break my back every time I try to pick him up.
