  1. Ahhh. Unfortunate. I love seeing the big builds and of course the results...
  2. Agree with some above...I personally never owned a Corsa but have heard many. I like the sound and quality.
  3. ...interested to see the set-up that REQUIRES the 3 bar set-up. Must be a beast.
  4. I have 4 genuine 18" Chevrolet wheels up for sale that are wrapped in Bridgestone Dueler AT mud and snow tires. Tread is 60% on the tires and do not have any punctures or plugs. The wheels and tires were used for winter driving only and there is salt damage to the aluminum finish on all 4. The worst one is pictured. Center caps are not pictured however are included in the sale. Tire size is 265/65/R18. All 4 wheels have the GM pressure sensor in them and were installed new about 2 years ago. Worked just fine all winter. Perfect drag racing wheels to mount some sticky short tire on! Or use for winter driving to keep your pretty show wheels looking their best come spring and summer! $250 for all 4. Local pick up only. Warren County NJ
  5. The tune repository is a good place to familiarize yourself with commonly modified tables. You are doing it right, learn the software first and only make changes you are confident with.
  6. Ed - I looked over your tune file and all of your ETC tables are where they should be for the amount of air you are pulling into the engine. Since you didn't have any codes thrown, I figured as much but wanted to look over them once again. Your P1514 table isn't maxed out but your logs (and how we scaled your injector table and Ve) agree with the settings that are in there and will not trip the code. No codes thrown validate the settings. Did you try from a dig? Log it so we can see the dynamic cyl airflow. I have your upper RPM numbers but not on a launch. You said it occurred around 4kRPMs correct? Is it repeatable or random? After that, it must be a physical flutter with the TB blade that throws the REP. Interesting finding with what L8ERBRO stated. Maybe he is on to something there?
  7. Looks fantastic. Must always remember that without a career, there are no toys.
  8. Completely dependent on your particular set-up (plugs, type of blower, IAT, bolt-ons, thermo...). Stock engine with a bolt-on blower...12-18* is average for what I see.
  9. PM sent. Will keep everyone posted if it doesn't sell.
  10. For sale...one SS poster, original 118 of 3000. No fading, no holes, never has been folded. There are a few minor scratches (not holes) as I had the poster framed and it fell down, glass breaking causing some scratches. It will be shipped in a tube. These were real popular as of late...going for well over $100 each. In addition, I am including a silver "Silveradoss.com" decal, 4 super sticky brushed aluminum "SS" brake caliper decals, a few 1 inch SS decals and a couple of small bow tie decals. I also have another silveradoss.com decal however it has a small hole through it (think of someone pinning it up on a cork board). I am going to include it but it is just an extra as it is damaged. $80.00 for it all, shipped to your door.
  11. Strap it on and go beat on some of those imports. Let me know when the ATCO party is going to happen.
  12. Yea, I had that one. More functions than I needed, that is for sure. It does everything but make you a ham sandwich for lunch. Good piece.
  13. My rule of thumb when dealing with high boost tuning on stock internals is to tune with 93 octane at a mild boost number (say 10psi) and then add C-16 and more boost. C-16 is a heavy fuel that resists detonation and does not change your STOICH value in the tune. If you switch to E85 or add methanol injection, you will have a shift in the fueling curve and the need to adjust along with all of the upper boost tuning you will need to do. Tuning - Go slow with low timing. Once your fueling is spot on, build back the spark advance and feel to power come out! I have tuned 20psi on stock internals without issue. True this engine will not win any longevity awards but it will take some abuse for a little while anyway. 15lbs like you state should take 93 octane and mild timing without issue. If you go aggressive on the timing and have a hot air charge, you should consider methanol injection.
  14. Unlikely your issue IMO however just delete the COT command. It is useless IMHO in our modified lifestyle. For a stock truck that tows etc. yea, it can be helpful. I would first look at all of your adder tables (IAT, ECT etc.) and ensure you are not having influence there. Then I would focus on your Ve and MAF calibration. If you are running a 14.7 STOICH, you may wish to run 14.2 to better reflect the 10% Ethanol fuels that are 99.9% of the blends out there now. Since you are leaning out up top, I would look at your IDC values as you may be maxing out your injectors up in the RPM band however your sig says you should be fine with the 44#rs. Regardless, it would be good to check. if your flow numbers you entered in your tune are off, you could be masking the issue when you calibrate your MAF and Ve table. Check fuel pressure at high RPMs as well. Low FP will lead to lean AFR creep at higher RPMs. Oh, here is the old HPT configuration for the RAF (Idle Air): Idle-Airflow.cfg
  15. Yes there is tuning involved. The lower the RPM "stall rating" the more you can get away from not tuning. Bottom line - several tables should be modified to avoid CELs, premature wear on components and to take full advantage of your new modification.
  16. Nice work Mike. It was fun working with you on your tuning and I hope the results are what you were expecting. I agree there is more left on the table...it was not the ideal weather conditions for racing at all. I predict a 13.75 come a cold day in November. Regardless, that truck is hauling the mail for the modifications done to it. Congrats on the accomplishment!
  17. Agree. It is just the rolling of the tide. Any suggestions on increasing activity?
  18. Still around, typically tool around all the forums when I have a chance. Mostly in the HPT forum. I don't reply much as of late...but still read and add from time to time. Still tune some, mostly fixing poor tunes for guys at their wits end with a tuner shop. Mr chpspecial is pointing you where you should be. Before commenting fully, can you list your full set of mods and if you can, post your tune file? If you are a SD tune, that changes where you should be modifying your timing.
  19. Good to see some 1.5s out of the 60 ft. Now that the low end is dialed in, time to go for the gusto. Heat wasn't your friend this weekend but it sure does have a lot left in her. To think, you have a lot more pulley (boost) on the table. You are doing it the right way. Slowly turn the wick up so they don't ban you for life there. Island has some fickle tech inspectors...
  20. Great pics guys. I would have loved to be there but you know how it goes. Glad to see some trophies and also a burn out win going to someone you all know!!! Keep posting!
  21. Agree. I assume this is a random cyl misfire? P0300? Close down the gap a bit and ensure you didn't chip the electrode.
  22. I have a 2.75 on the shelf!
