  1. I am local and have seen this truck numerous occasions. Its a nice ride for sure. Good luck Chris. If you sell it I hope you dont by a Mazda and drink E85 !
  2. Looks like a few of us are going to Porkies tonight. Guess we are going to meet up somewhere and roll in together. Should be there around 7-ish. So any locals... the more the merrier.
  3. I will be going through Indy the day before. Running out to RPM to get some transmission updates. So is anyone still thinking about Porkies Saturday night?
  4. Sounds OK to me. Who else is in?
  5. Welcome. Any group Porkies plans in the future. I have to hang with you guys since there is not enough of "my kind" in the area. LOL
  6. LOL Just saw this "talk about great quotes by a great guy... It's a mazda YOU ARE IN RICELAND!!! "It's probably better that you got a mazda, after all HPTuners wont have support for that so at least you know you can't Blow It Up!!" Allballz57" I saw E85 Brad at Porkies last Saturday. haha Congrats on the Payoff. I am sure you will find something to spend it on.
  7. Yea Newton would be a better drive. I think I will go to Cedar Falls in a couple weeks. Need a 1/4 mile time.
  8. Wish some of you boys would have went. Not many street cars there on Friday. It gave me a chance to at least get a baseline on my tune. Ran low 8.2s all night with 2100-2200 DA. Need to work on my tune a little more but getting close. First run I asked the guy "Do I need to wear a helmut". He says.. "haha. No" Second run, the guy says.. Uh, looks like you need a helmut. But most the night I got my butt kicked running 5-6 second race cars. Funny feeling launching and seeing a car two lengths ahead of you with the front wheels 16" off the ground and getting out MPH at the end by 60 mph !
  9. Whats a TBSS? LOL Congrats, I am sure you will enjoy it.
  10. Hey I will play !!! Just PM me in case I dont get back. Just added new stuff to that thingy under the hood today. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5yqLj3gaM-s Rich
  11. Yes, around town you will lose MPG. On the highway they are pretty much the same since the TC locks up at low throttle and speed. But city mileage will suffer. I agree on Yank. Have had Yanks and Vig in this truck (TBSS) and I prefer the Yank. Its tighter at the same stall speed and Yank does a better job at rating real stall speed that Vig. My experience with price is Yank is not really cheaper though. SSSmoke Eater As far as picking the stall speed you should pick one that comes in 500 to 750 RPM lower than where your torque curve hits. Thats really all you are trying to do is get into the power band.
  12. I think that is something my truck needs every other week this year. Is it my imagination or are the roads around here loaded with crap?
