  1. So I searched old posts but couldn't find what I needed. All of a sudden last night I had my heat on the floor vent but noticed only cold air coming out and the heat was coming out of the defrost. I'm not sure what's going on. My truck is an 03 and I've never had this issue before. Any ideas what might be causing this? Thanks fellas.
  2. I've been at the dealership since 9 to get the new wheels installed and the truck hasn't even moved yet. Really?

      Pitman arm TOO?!

  3. This made me laugh! Yeah I think there is a LKQ near me. Think I'm just gonna get a set of stockers. Thanks for the opinions guys.
  4. This totally just blew my mind! I am in the planning stages if a cam/shift kit/torque converter upgrade. I tow a 14' enclosed triler a few times a month so I want to retain my ability to tow but I want to wake this beast up! I honestly have no clue where to start with the cam/converter combo. The shift kit I'm reading up on. Any help/recomendations would be awesome!
  5. Ok, since I just bought a set of 22 inch replicas I went ahead and got two more new tires. Problem solved. But has anyone ever had their tires shaved so that they're all the exact same size? I can't find a shop near me that even knows what shaving is.
  6. Does anyone have a parts list for the front diff rebuild? Mine has had shavings since I bought it at 70k miles. I'm at 130k now so I know it's just a matter of time. At least I could chase parts down and be ready when it pukes.
  7. So I've got these ugly tail lights that were on the truck when I bought it. Should I take them apart and paint the chrome part black and then smoke the lens or just buy a set if stock tails? Help me out fellas. The pic wouldn't load so here is a link for a set nearly identically to mine http://www.ebay.com/itm/310413364669?redirect=mobile
  8. Should I have the back two shaved down to the same height? Would be cheaper than 2 new tires.
  9. Come on fellas. I know somebody knows. I measured them and the fronts are a quarter of an inch shorter than the back. Is this too much difference in height? I just don't want to kill my transfer case.
  10. So I just had to replace my two back tires (305-45-22) due to broken belts. My front two tires have less than half tread left on them. Will the difference in tire size damage the AWD transfercase? Thanks in advance!!
  11. Anybody have a part number for the airlift kit for the lowered awd trucks? I'm having a hard time finding it. Thanks
  12. Question for the transmission guys. For some reason my 99 tahoe will not shift into overdrive when its cold. Once it warms up, it will but not untill, no matter what speed i'm driving. Anyone know what would cause this? Thanks fellas!
  13. Dang bro! Prayers going out for you, and Lara too.
