Yeah, I was hoping for some reality. But I think you guys are correct. Maybe GM will get their head out of the darkness one day and figure out how to build a hp truck that’s not only marketable but trend setting. They should build one that sets the standard and quit trying to match existing competitors trucks. When you have the best in the field, people will pay the price. One day when I get....bla-bla-bla! Yeah one day when I get a 572 B.B. with a couple of spinners or a pro-charger and and a Tranny to pull it and a 4-link suspension and racing stripes and....!!! 5 lengths at 60! I had this made for me by Wicked Kreations. They design it with your truck, or cars details. They make them out of metal and cut it on their plasma cutter. They can be found on Instagram and FB if you wanna check out some of their work. They do about anything you can think up! I had them add the state profile along with the name. -

I'm totally with you on the drone thing. I was apprehensive at first about this system because of that. However, I loved the look so much, I decided to gamble on them. I must say, I am pleasantly surprised with vertually no drone. Actually they're somewhat tame on the interstate once you've leveled off. I've never had anyone complain about the exhaust being too loud inside the cab. Don't get me wrong, when you throtle up, they're pretty racie sounding. With a fairly stock 6.0L, tuned and a K N (it won't let me use the "and" symbol) prior to this system, they sound great and I feel like it helped the performance more than any cat-back I've had before. On mild downshifting they'res a little pop like a mild backfire that sounds good too! I don't mean the redneck crackle pop pop sound! (isn't that a cereal?) it's very low decibel back fire. One other thing, I own a 05 VHO 2wd. Gibson shows this only for a 2006 VHO. I spoke with their tech guy, He said they're is a slight diffence on one of the head pipes. Again, I decide I try it and if it didn't work, I'd have to make a modification worst case. However, it bolted right up with no issues. Not sure what year yours is, but I think their system will work on all SSs and VHOs 2wd or AWD 03-06 anyway. I hope this helped for what it's worth good luck! -

This was the day it arrived. These kits exit in front of the right rear tire. It came with pollished tips. I opted for black ceramic coated tips. Gibson hooked me up with a pair. -

Last summer I had part of the hood and the cab roof wrapped. It's 3M Satin Black. Satun black is a fairly new 3M color or sheen. It's between a gloss and matte black. I'm fab'ing my grille to match. The center of the grille will be satin black to match the hood lines. The inserts between the lights will color match, like an 06 grille does. -

I tinted my tail lights this past summer. They looked good, but they were just too dark! Plus I didn't mask the back-up lense, making reverse a night a challenge! I decided to strip them down and redo with 2 coats instead of 3, plus I masked the back-up lense. So this group of pics is a timeline of the progression. Upper left - three coats of tint and to clear coats. Upper right - stripped back to the OEM look. Lower left - two coats of tint drying. (Will clear coat in a few days) Lower right - installed! (Much nicer backing up at night) -

After I installed my new leather steering wheel, I hopped in and took a drive. I remember thinking, this is like having a new truck with the nice leather wheel, instead of my old, wore out, shiny and slick OEM wheel. Then, I reached over and grabbed my shift lever and realized with all of the factory texture gone, it was time for a new one. I soon discovered the Escalade upgrade and bought a new one. Thanks to the guys here that posted theirs and showed installation pics and instructions. -

I finally got all the pieces to this puzzle and installed recently. It's a new black and red Grant wheel, I bought an airbag that has the Bow-tie circle badge in the center. The plan is to have a custom overlay badge made for it. That was inspired by the SS guys that had the proper "SS" logo badges made. I'm gonna have a "VHO" one made, I think. Also I bought all new OEM control buttons. (Lights again!!!). -

Picked these wheels and tires for a good price. I'm calling them my "winter set". I've got some pitting on my factory VHO wheels, right at the tire bead. One actually leaks a little. Gonna get them cleaned up, repaired, and finally, black them out. Another winter project! -
