  1. there is a recall on the stepper motors from 02-07.i would replace them all while your in there. ss with tranny temp takes 7. there are videos online on how to replace. if you can solder looks like an easy fix. here is a video. http://youtu.be/oTm2oDx-_GM. this guy looks like he knows what he is doing. he gives you part number on video. dont buy the black ones. heard they are garbage. should be white and x25 or 27. there are places that can do it for you have to call around. i am adding blue led and blue bezel while im in there. will update later. just ordered parts today and usps takes for ever so will be next week.
  2. actually found them on ebay. were $18 for the set.here ebay site for blue ones: http://motors.shop.ebay.com/i.html?_nkw=bl...s&_osacat=0 3157 are for turn signal and the drl socket. smd are the best. had the hyper and they didnt work right. had amber ones in turn signal but burnt out fast. i wired up a switch on dash beacause they are illegal to have blue lights on front of vehicle. noticed that local cops usually leave me alone, but state troopers are more concerned with vehicle stuff so i turn off on e-way. where should this be posted thought i put it in for sale section
  3. 2003 Silverado SS arrival blue AWD, bedrug, fiberglass tonneau, new Kelly Fierce V-tread tires(4,000 miles, spring '09), owned since 4-7-07 bought with 36,000 mi. most fluids switched to Amsoil synthetics. All stock except flowmaster muffler. 7000k(blue tint still very bright) hi and lo beams. drl removed and added switch to control blue led lighting. Very Clean. Asking $18,500. More pics available. Sean. email [email protected].
  4. Amsoil was the 1st to make synthetics and has been making them for 37 yrs. Check out the products on my website at www.sc-bestsynthetics.com . They improve gas mileage and hp. Also covered by an Amsoil warranty, dont know of any other oils that do that.
  5. I would not go that far either personally but there is proof of it happening or they would not warranty it for that long. the 25,000 is for normal condition(mostly hi-way) and its 15,000 for severe(around town and heavy work). your fleet at work would have no problem going up to the 15,000. technology is improved on many things including oil. people just have been raised on the 3,000miles or 3months and and old traditions are hard to break.
  6. Im an Amsoil Dealer. You can use 5w-30 all year. the the w is for winter and amsoil asl 5w-30 is good down to -58 the the 30 weight is good for your truck unless used for racing only. I got from a retired exec at amsoil that the hdd 5w-30 for deisel engines is the best and can be used in gas engines. that what i use. plus with the amsoil u can go 25,000 miles and/or 1yr between oil changes. i only drive mine like 4k a yr. and change once a yr. You can order off my website and deliver to your house. dont forget the filter they are the best and rated for the 25,000. Check out my website at sc-bestsynthetics.com. any question call me. number on website
  7. i went 77.5 meters but had alot of confetti on floor also! i'll let my kids play this they'll prolly beat me!
