  1. good things going on this labor day weekend! i got my cover installed on saturday, and it looks great! perfect paint color match! It also feels very sturdy and i am very happy with it. pictures will be coming soon.
  2. this thing was very easy to install. no splicing required, and everything works as it should! so now i got my two kicker cvr102's hooked up to help fill in the factory sound. very satisfied with the whole setup!
  3. Ok, so I have seen a few times on this site about how people suggest using a GM side post battery terminal connection to hook-up battery power for an amp. I have looked at my battery and it has a plastic cover all around it and was wondering how a GM side post connector would hook up, and where? would i just be better off connecting the power wire to the connection near the firewall where the battery wire goes to, then everything trees off from there? I just want to make sure I get a clean and solid connection for my amp power.
  4. I was wondering if anyone knew the part numbers or where I could look into getting black trim pieces to replace the wood grain. I have ebony leather interior and the wood grain doesnt seem to match anything in the truck.
  5. I have mine, and am going to attempt to install it later this week. here is a video for the lockpick that shows how to get the radio out... very helpful. I am still trying ti find out which wire needs to be spliced into what for the power for amp remote... the instructions that come with the GM1416 are not very helpful at all http://www.coastaletech.com/gmlockpick1.htm
  6. anyone know of any sub boxes for a 2007 NBS extended cab with more airspace than the subthump offers? the single subthump gives .65 and the double gives .59/ea. i am now debating between a single sub or a double and 10" or 12"; would like more options than the subthump. thanks
  7. i just looked at the kicker subs, looking good. i order a kicker amp yesterday... zx400. im not looking to blow out any windows or i dont even care if the car next to me can hear my setup, i just want a little umph added to the stock bose. the kicker cvt102 only needs 4 5/16" depth which is awesome... so im thinking of going with 2 of those. however it says it needs .8 cu ft airspace... which none of the boxes ive seen online can give... would that be a big problem?
  8. I am considering getting the subthump (http://www.subthump.com/cxb07.htm) havent decided on the 1 sub or 2 sub model, but they both have a 5.5" mounting depth so i was wondering if you guys had any recommendations for subs that could fit in this mouting depth. i am also considering maybe getting an alpine m450 amp, and maybe 2 if i get 2 subs. any ideas or suggestions for me?
  9. This is the system for the NBS 2007's... i am thinking about getting it to add a sub to my truck... any information or thoughts on this?http://www.pac-audio.com/oem1kits/aoemresults.asp?mmSearch=Chevrolet&Submit=Search+for+AOEM-1+kits
  10. I am considering getting a rear back up camera on my 07 vmax with stock nav. i am told that the silverado does not have a factory option, although the avalanche and tahoe do. so i have to go aftermarket... anyone have any experience with any of these? or can recommend any brands?
  11. Hello, I am looking to order a GT Classic... I was wondering if people who have these could answer a couple questions for me. 1) with the clamp on hardware, is there any screw holes to be made? somewhere i read 2, and in another post i read none. 2) it seems very simple to install, and the shops are charging around 80 bucks for install. is it easy enough to do myself? 3) does it come with carpet underneath? is that extra $? thank you very much everyone for reading and any responses!
  12. i have the factory navigation and i was wondering if there was a way to unlock it so you can do POI searches and such while driving, instead of having to come to a full stop? i tried to do a search for this but couldnt come up with any results. any ideas?
  13. actually it was a white post in the parking garage at the mall...
