I'm seeing a lot more diesel guys relocating their fuel fill to the inside of their tool box for this very reason... Around here they've actually been puncturing tanks...

no offense but sounds like a painting technique from pre school, and even if you clear coated b/c you didn't/can't prep... I'm about to do a how to write up on some techniques w/ designs in semi gloss when i paint the lid on my intake this next week... stay tuned
