  1. Hey Mark, Interested in any trades? Very nice SS Silverado!
  2. Thanks for the offer on the box. I'm thinking I might get the one with the 10's in it. I already have an amp, but I'm not sure where to mount it. Thats a very sharp truck you have. Good luck with the sale!
  3. has not set their status

  4. Some people may not care for the wheels I selected for my truck. In 2001 the "Earnhardt" edtion Camaro came out, It was black with the charcoal accent stripes and gray spoke torque thrust wheels. My truck is the same colors. I saw these wheels and had to have them. I put a Earnhardt dealer emblem on the back and winners circle plate on the front.

  5. Hey Guys, I was thinking about getting a sub box from Q-logic. Its the type that fits under the rear seat. The one that I'm looking at is preloaded with a pair of Kicker VT 10's. Has anyone here used a box like this? How did it sound ? Where did you install your amp? Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks, Brian
  6. Thanks Guys, That explains why I never saw an 03 with a moonroof.
  7. Hey Guys, I was wondering if the SSs came with the optional power moonroof?
  8. I just replaced the rockers on my truck after driving it in the winter for the last 8 1/2 years. The replacements are made of a heavier guage steel then what the originals were. When I looked at the 03 SSs, It appeared that the rockers have a hard plastic cover over the steel rockers. I was little concerned about this because snow and salt could get trapped between the two panels and rust out the rockers. You wouldn't know it until it was to late, because of the plastic or fiberglass panel that covers them up. Thats probably one of my biggest concerns. Thanks, Brian
  9. Hey Guys, I was looking at an SSS thats for sale in my area. I was wondering where the most common areas for rust are on these trucks? Unfortunatly, if I bought one, I would have no choice but to drive it in the winter. Thanks, Brian
  10. Thanks Guys for the quick replies. I thought it had them. I just wasn't sure if they were the grey ones or not. Thats a very sharp truck! I looked at a Black 03 in my area, and wondered what it would look like with those wheels. Thanks again, Brian
  11. Hey Guys, Your probably gonna think this is a weird question, but here it goes. I was looking at the first black SSs in the banner at the top of the screen. It looks like it has the same"Grey" spoke Torquethrust wheels that I have on my truck. Could this be true?? If so, is the person that owns it a member here? Thanks, Brian
  12. Thanks for the info. That explains why the 05's and newer are getting better mpg's
  13. Hey Guys, Are these the only gear ratio options for the SS Silverado? Is there a way to tell what ratio a SS Silverado has? Thanks, Brian

    Ruined!

$8000 for those wheels???.... What a waste of money. The truck itself doesn't look that bad white.
  15. Hey Guys, This is my first post. I'm looking at a SS Silverado and wondered if anyone here has used their truck to pull an enclosed trailer. I have a classic car that I pull to a few shows once or twice a year with my current truck. I only get 7-9mpg when I'm pulling a trailer. How does your truck do when pulling a trailer considering its AWD. any problems? what kind of mpg can I expect with a SS? Thanks, Brian
