yeah when i had it at the dealership for my last oil change they "tested" the alternator and said it was fine, anyone know if thats covered under extended warranty?

Ive decided id like to go with two 10" subs for under the rear seat of the SS and i have this very desireable setup layin around now. If i had the patience or the money to get the 12" Type-R custom fitted into the truck i would but unfortunately in the box it is in the seat has to be up or it has to sit on top of the seat. I had it in a sedan which i traded for the truck, and the woofer just doesnt quite make the transition. If anyone has a vehicle with a proper enclosed cargo area or wants to have something custom made, this is an amazing setup worth close to $1000 and if you are local i am a certified installer and can help you through the process of getting it all put in if you decide to do it yourself. Id be willing to get rid of mine as well, im looking into either the chromes or something entirely different, they are in perfect shape with minor oxidation in the center caps, no rash or anything, with Pirelli Scorpion ATR tires with 50% left or so

I have my stock 20" SS rims which are silver painted and id just much prefer the chrome ones. If anyone has a set and wants to trade or sell them let me know. Mine have no curb rash whatsoever, tires are not necessary.

My 2004 SS seems to have quite an issue with its idle and stalling out. It chugs very low and fluxuates between maybe 400-700 rpm at times and when I am driving at idle speeds down say a dirt road or backing up out of my driveway onto a hill the truck will stall if i am not giving it a sufficient amount of throttle, and even then when shifting into drive it may stall out. I am afraid that one of these days ill be doing 20-25 around a corner with little throttle and the truck will stall and thus cutting my power steering and causing an accident. My battery seems to die quite quickly as well, say after 2-3 days of sitting, and i had it replaced a few months ago after the last one did the same thing. Could the stalling be an alternator issue? or something deeper in the engine like the injectors or something? I really have no idea and when i tried to replicate the issue at the dealer, of course it was working properly. It is a random thing that will happen almost every time the truck is cold and it still occurs, albeit less frequently, after the truck has been warmed up. If anyone has any insight into it please let me know! It is very frustrating. I am running an amplifier and subwoofer as well as an aftermarket in dash navi unit, along with a sirius and a remote start/alarm system and hideaway strobes. I figure the strobes and remote start dont draw much if any power when running and that leaves me with a 12 volt sirius and a regular sound system upgrade which i dont imagine would put a big load on anything. Can anyone help? Thank you!

apparently filling your tires with nitrogen instead of oxygen is supposed to give you up to a 10% increase, there are kits for it
