  1. When my truck was stock it got over 40 more miles per tank full running Premium than it did running Mid grade. So I ran premium all the time, if you figure it out in Pennies per mile it's actually cheaper to run premium. Now that I've Modified the Hell out of it-it requires Premium but that's cool it's too much fun when I stomp it... Thanks Zippy... Still runs perfect 9 1/2 yrs later, Perfect I tell ya
  2. I had a squeek that I couldn't figure out, Only turning in one direction at a certain intersection, put the truck up on jackstands and greased every fitting I could find, it didn't help, finally figured out my front wheel bearings where going to Sh*t. (both sides) Check yours. Mine had about 45K..$500.00 later and alls good...
  3. Get a Zippy Tune.....It's Waaaaaaaayyyyyyyy Better than the stock Magna Tune. with the stock Maggie tune they pull so much timing and tranny pressure when it shifts it feels like it did when it was stock, with the Zippy tune it Snaps through the gears with perfection, and at every speed it feels ready to go whereas the maggie tune took allot of pedal input before it would downshift or come out of overdrive. Zippys tune is the best money spent yet, I have had others and had Zippy flash over it, NO COMPARISON.....
  4. Damn, I can't find it, But I do recall the better wires where the ones with a Bigger core, Since the spark signal actually flows outside the core, not in it. and the thicker insulation was a benifit also..
  5. Over on PT.Net there was a link to a discussion about plug wires, and how the Low resistance wire is NOT the best chioce. also how No plug wire makes more power than another. But allows for better spark quality under certain conditions letting you maintain the power you already have. or - Not losing power Due to poor spark quailty. it also said one manufacturer made most of the double wound Low res wire and all you get for the money is the name. I think the carbon core came out on top. if I can find it I'll link to it or show where it is.
  6. I Used the belt that came with the Radix kit for a 3.4" and 3.2" and a 3" with no problems. I also have 100mm Idlers, I think that belt was a 112. I run a 111.5 now with the 3", not because of slip, but the friggin 112" would squeak when it was cold due to the clear glue over the #s, so I replaced it....
  7. At the bottom of his post it says he has a 5.7 Tundra.
  8. Get A Zippy Tune. He Has a World of knowledge about these trucks. Cost's 1/3 (or less) of the other high doller tuner, and he's as good or better. he doesn't do "cookie Cutter" Tunes, where they think one good tune fits all. I asked for specific things with my Zippy Radix tune, Probably some of it was against the grain. and he hit it right on. also he's one of very few That was willing to do a mail order supercharger tune. I get the same milage with a supercharger that I was getting stock with a CAI and headers. Obviously if I lay into it allot it will get worse. I Have a wideband and stuff so I can monitor whats happening, and it's all Tits. (we need a smiley with tits)
  9. Yeah, My brother has the same truck as mine except it has a Duramax and is 2wd, It's like a "DieselPlace.com/McRat Project child" Has over 600RWHP on a two wheel drive. Now their getting ready to go inside the motor to upgrade to handle 850RWHP. I Guess he really likes burning tires. once hooked up It's fast as hell, but I'd already be gone
  10. The Radix kit should have 42# injectors on it already, You should be fine there...
  11. I Went from 3.4" to a 3" with no issues From the tune. I Think You should be fine.
  12. I Told him what I didn't like about the stock Radix Tune and He Hit it Right on the First time. He got the A/F, T/C Lockup, PE, Everything I Wanted, He did, Very Well. I Don't have any way to log Data so I had to find someone who could do it without. Zippy, If I ever get another Dog, I'm going to name it after you Great Job Man... Thanks Allot....
  13. Those #'s are very accurate. I have a 6.0L and have run a 3.4", 3.2" and now a 3.0" and those pressures are exactly right. ( Stock H/C with Headers)
