Set of 4 brand new Bilstein shocks for sale. Still in boxes. I have the exact same ones on my 03 AWD with a 2/3 drop but will work on stock height as well. Part numbers 24-186100 (front) 24-186117 (rear). $360

Are these the adjustable ones? Can you use stock shocks or do you need the belltech ones? Thanks

Old post but may have been me. Ive got an 03 with 06 hood/grille. Black with black wheels and tinted windows. I head around that way sometimes to get home around the 64 traffic.

I rarely check this section but I'm in Chesapeake(Great Bridge) and work in VB. Black '03 with a '06 front. Black wheels. If one of you sees me flag me down. I'll try to do the same. -Ross

Correct. I think my optima is bad at this point so I'm getting it tested tomorrow but so far no issues with the draw. *fingers crossed

UPDATE: Replaced the GMOS-04 with the new one - Of course they changed the harnesses so i had to re-wire the entire thing. But 3 days later with all fuses intact the battery seems fine. Looks like this was in fact the issue with my truck Sending the unit back to Metra/Axxess for their feedback.

Very Sorry to hear about your grandfather Dan - takes a lot of strength to see the good in situations like that. Keep us updated - Im looking forward to hearing about these @ssholes getting some sort of karma back in their direction. -
I've posted on this several times over the last few years. My truck had the same issue. Pioneer avh p4000dvd installed for about 4 years without any issues. Then literally overnight my trucks battery was dead. Replaced battery with an optima red top but then found a 754ma draw. If I pulled the radio and amp fuses the draw would drop significantly but not go away completely. I figured it was the Bose amp bc I've read about them going bad. I was trying to keep miles off the truck anyway so I never fixed it. FINALLY got fed up and took it to a car stereo place today. The culprit in my case is the metra axxess gmos-04 adapter. I got to reading online and it seems this is a pretty common thing with these adapters. I've ordered another and should have it tomorrow to double check but the shop guaranteed this was the issue. Not saying this is your case but it's worth checking

Yeah dude, you've lost your mind.

OK - I finally got around to pulling fuses. Current draw while the truck is sitting is 0.8A Seems that pulling the AMP fuse drops the current draw to about 0.2A and pulling the RADIO fuse drops it completely. So it would seem the draw is coming from radio...again. I thought I had traced this issue before and half-way solved it by pulling the AMP fuse. Before when I would do this the draw would completely go away - it seems this is no longer the case and I have to pull both fuses to get it to completely go away. Anyone have any ideas as to how to fix this issue? Again, the pioneer headunit and steering wheel control adapter were installed at least 6 months before this issue began. Thanks again for everyones help.

I will do that - Now that I think of it when the dude at Advance ran the tests i had the fuses out for the radio and amp so my stereo was off but after shutting the truck off I never opened/shut the door so I bet you're right - the courtesy feature was still on and the bcm was still alive. There is still enough of a draw to kill a fully charged optima red top in 2 days tops. I will check and pull fuses tonight. Thanks for everyone input - I'm really hoping to get this solved asap.
-
Only problem is the headunit has been in the truck a long time before I started having this issue. Also, the radio and radio AMP fuses are pulled bc there is a small draw from that we found there - but nothing close to 4.5amps I guess I'm back to pulling fuses again...this sucks!
-
My battery keeps dying - Brand new optima red top - checks out fine. I had this problem a while back and started pulling fuses and it seemed the bose amp was the culprit. Well now it seems to have migrated somewhere else bc I'm having the same issue. Alternator checks out fine, starter checks out fine. but I have a 4.5 amp current draw somewhere. Only electrical mods are Pioneer p4000dvd and a single aeroforce scan gauge - both of which were installed months before this issue ever started. I'm completely puzzled now and about to go insane. Anyone have any sort of similar issues? Any ideas? Thanks
