What time were you planning on meeting? I have plans that evening, but I should be open till about 4.

cool. I won't make any promises now. It currently has a 5 speed, but we're putting a c4 in it, and it's getting freshened up. Yup... great cars. I want to build a turbo lsx setup eventually, but the sbf with a plate kit will work for now. It's a damn fun car.

lol. Maybe my sarcasm didn't come across very well... the beater I referenced above is a 79 fairmont that run's low 11's on motor and has lost to the ss. I'll see you guys in a couple weeks.

lol. If I'm not in the ss, I'll be in an old beater with a bench seat and column shifter. It sounds rough and shakes a little, so I think it needs a tune up.

I just have a slow minivan on 20's, but I'm game.

sounds good. I think it would be fun to get a party bus next year. $400 for 4 hours, and it'll hold about 25 people. Bring a few coolers and let them drive us around to a couple bars. Based on previous experience, they let you bring almost anything or anyone on the bus. lol

That's good to hear. I'm really excited to get them. I can't wait. I've already pulled a bit of weight. Mine weighs 4440, with me, full interior, and 1/4 tank. The silver truck was skinnies. We have similar setups. I think his is faster, but he thinks mine is. lol Every time we try to race, a cop rolls by, so we don't really know. I asked to race scott's bolt on truck that night, but the guy driving it had an early flight and wanted to get back to the hotel. It was cool meeting everyone though.

Scott's actually the one that convinced me to get them. lol I've seen the big debates on them, and I even had my doubts. I'm currently running a set of stock manifolds that I ported. I met him at the nats, here in kc a couple weeks ago. WE talked alot about how everyone doubts the times, and how funny it is that a few of us are very close to the record. He has the ported intake, but didn't speak highly of it, in person. It also sounds a little weird to me that the gains on the ported intake were so different. 7 hp vs 23 hp. That's a huge difference. My 12.8 pass was in 2800 DA, so I'm waiting for one of these nice days this fall, to put it on kill and go for the record. I think I'll be pretty close. I have a few vids of scott running on the street, when he was here. Just check out my other vids, when you're able to watch them.

That was with the 275/40-20 Nitto dr's. The rsa's are the absolute worst tire I've ever had. I have a PTC 3600. My previous best was a 12.82 @ 104.7 Last weekend, Justin came to town to dial in my tune, and I think it picked up quite a bit. I also have headers on the way. It should go low 12's next time out.
