  1. After installing my McGaughys 2"/3.5" drop I noticed that the passenger side of my truck sat a little lower than the driver side. Does anyone else have this problem? There's about 1/2" difference from the front and about 3/4" difference in the rear. The rear still sits higher than the front but i can't help but think i did something wrong. Can any one help with this?
  2. It's a real easy install, took me about an hour. You are going to have to drill some holes. Don't be worried if the measurements don't quite work out as perfect as you'd like them. There is no carpet but you can order it. I love it. Let me know how it goes. Good luck.
  3. Does anyone know if you still have the same towing capacity after you install a drop kit? I've got the 2/3.5 drop and I just got curious. I haven't tried to tow anything, but I thought I'd ask.
  4. I got the GemTop cover and I love the look. When all was said and done, it came out to be pretty pricey. There were a couple of little mods I had to make because of the tailgate cap to install the locking mechanism. It was pretty easy though. It comes painted to match too which is nice. Install was about 45 min. Here's a link to some pics. http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2279076/1
  5. Thanks for the advice. Do you know where I can get some shims?
  6. I'm getting some pretty rough vibrations when I accelerate. Does anyone else have this problem? I do have the McGaughy 2/3.5 drop on my truck. I just recently started to notice it. Any clues?
  7. I've already turned my bolts, but i still want more of a drop in the front, about 1/2". If i turn them anymore the driver side bolt will be unthreaded all the way.
  8. I'm looking for a set torsion bar keys to drop the front end of my truck a little more. Anyone have some they want to get rid of?
  9. Hey, i had a question, i was looking at my torsion bar key bolts and noticed that one bolt is threaded farther than the other. the driver side bolt seems to be threaded just about all the way out, is it supposed to be that way? i wanted to adjust them a little to bring the front down a little more. anyways, just wanted to see if anyone had any thoughts. any help would be great. thanks.
  10. I dropped my truck using the McGaughy's kit and the rear seems to sit lower than the front. i wanted to adjust my torsion bars but wanted to know how much i should turn the bolts. any ideas?

  12. I just installed my McGaughys drop too, and it looks like the rear of the truck sits lower than the front. Looking at your pics it almost looks that way too. Is there anything that can be done to correct it? Or is it just something i have to live with.
  13. I was thinking of painting my factory grill to match my truck. I've seen it done, I'd just like to know if there is anything different i'd have to use other than some spray paint. Any help would be great.
