  1. actually it is an easy learn as long as you keep it slow... you can always turn out towards your window sharply to avoid tiping over... in fact he has only tipped it over once in hundreds of attemps if not more... he has done this in many movies. And yea, it is an actual straight axle... welded in place... sounds funny when you turn the corner when on all fours. Plus the truck is a track only vehicle, a training vehicle really. We have a 2 day tactial driving course with Bobby Ore. He spends half the year in his florida track as well. He has done stunts for hundreds of movies and teaches actors how to drive... he was the main team on Dukes of hazzard, just about every major car scene in the movies - matrix, the island, swordfish, many more... for more info - check out my website - www.usabodyguards.com and www.socalbodyguards.com later
  2. ok... every sunday and especially the last sunday of each month, there is an exotic car gathering of about 75-125 cars... from lambos to muscle cars and everything in between... they meet in a parking lot just off the freeway in Calabasas (near encino, ca) it is about time to bring out some trucks ad show them car types that trucks can be bad ass as well... it is going down this sunday and i have a few people going now... any takers??? plus it is a cool place to hang out, upscale, 0 drama, and the police are cool and let people get on it when the roll out... you can see some hot cars with loads of HP do full throttle exits.... fun for all ages. again like i said 0 drama and the people are all very cool. hit me up if you want directions... i will be there for the next couple of sundays...
  3. this is the real thing people... I own a bodyguard training academy and we use Bobby Ore Motor sports for our tactical driving instruction... i have been teaching tactical driving for close to 10 years now... here is a photo of bobby and i driving down the track on 2 wheels... going about 20 miles an hour... and yes, we used a ramp to get on two wheels... tire pressure on the ford ranger is set at 110psi per wheel... other than that, no other mods at all, completely stock truck, suspension too.
  4. big girls need love too... i wonder if they can ride together to the mall?
  5. 2004-2006 hypertech programmer III new GM 2004-2006 all motors except diesel. www.hypertech.com part #30022 hit me up on PM... $225 takes it - brand new with box and all.
  6. yea as far as that goes... my idiot friend started writing all kinds of BS on the mods section and posted it... i tried to edit the post but unlike other sites, i dont see an edit post button... here are the corrections - - - NO gibson headers - i dont even have headers No Flowmaster catback - it is a Magnaflow cat back system (installed today) Supercharger - not even on - that happens monday morning... ok, sorry to have caused any confusion or BS... now it's time to go beat my idiot friend with a nine iron... I will clear up any confusions next week with a full set of pictures... showing EVERY mod... fair enough?? friends - dont let stoners touch your computer, unless of course it's you!
  7. thanks for all of the compliments... i too hate the gas cap... that is being changed asap... as far as the blue rims... have have to see the truck in person... they are not all blue, the lip 6" lip for that matter and in between the spokes is all chrome... i get compliments on my rims a million times more now than when they were plain chrome... I will post some new pics next week once i get it detailed... and off my lazy ass with my camera...lol
  8. i agree with the gas cap... it looked better when the rims were all chrome... color matched rides are the latest craze in CALI... everyone is doing it... usually california is ahead of most trends in whips and stuff... in person it looks really good... it was dyno-ed at 453hp with the stock SS rims and tires... i failed to mention the injen intake box... i didnt go for a monster tune, this is my daily driver and with LA traffic... that is MORE than enough... luckily i have an air train horn, compliments of www.hornblowers.com - kit was $750 installed... it is ridiculously loud. i have a $4000+ NIKON DIGITAL CAMERA SETUP and yet this is the only recent picture of the truck... go figure. i do need to get that gap fixed... my autobody guy is the same guy who won MTV;s Trick It Out series last year - platinum motorsports
  9. hey whats up group... i hope my truck is accepted here! i bought this truck last summer - July - completely stock... 2004 LS CA edition 5.3L... these are the mods thus far - *complete SS front end package *HID headlights 6000k *HID fog lights 6000k *4.10 gears *Auburn Posi *Mag-Hytek diff cover *Gibson Headers *Flowmaster Catback 40 series *24" rims *complete custom paint - all color matched *153 db Train Horn - love this thing! *Snug to SL cover with remote unlock *bedrug carpet kit *Belltech drop 2" 4" *Magnacharger supercharger 3.1 pully *custom tune *Navigation - DVD - focal, fosgate,JL audio system *JBA wires *more... *stock SS chrom rims and tires for track... would love to hear some feedback! Me personally, i live in Los Angeles and work in the Executive Protection industry.. next mods - dunno, open for some ideas... i have more than enough power for now... esepcially with gas prices over $3.50 a gallon here in los angeles...
  10. swweet truck! i bought the same version - CALIFORNIA edition, but mine only came with a 5.3L but that just cut the mustard so i went out yesterday and bought and magnuson supercharger... to be installed monday!!! along with long throw headers, cat back exhaust and a corvette servo for the tranny... i have a flowmaster on it now and a million mods including an unreal navigation dvd system will JL audio w3vs 10s... i had the complet truck repainted by the painter who won the TRICK IT OUT show on MTV last year... i just had it painted two months ago and added the ss front end and had everything colormatched... i got 24's and had them color matched too... let me know what you guys think...
  11. i have an SS clone supercharged (magnuson), headers, cat back, etc. and i have 24" color matched rims with a 6' lip... i think it looks hard... for the price i paid for my rims and tires i could have otten 2 sets of factor 20" SS rims... but my clone is WAAAAAY faster than a stock real ss... but i would tell your bro to change his gearing to 4.10's and posi... i did that and it made a bid difference in power... 24's are just too big for the stock 3.73 gears... imo here is a distant shot of my truck would love some comments on my truck too... once i reach the required 5 posts i will introduce myself in the member section...
  12. very professional job... looks great... cant wait to see finished product. The thing i hate most about paint... waiting!~!!! i had to wait 3 weeks for mine... i had to drive a POS dodge quad cab...
  13. i have seen it race at pomona... it is neat... lights and sirens work!
  14. sounds like something malcolm (in the middle) would say to reese.... btw this is my first post... i dont understand why i have to post 5 post before i can introduce myself in the new member section...what gives???
