  1. Installed the Corsa exhaust, didn't realize it but part of the system hangs rather low so need to climb under again and see if i have something flipped. Sounds great, pretty happy overall. Got it ceramic coated, but its dirty this time of year still so no pics. You'd think at 27k miles the paint can't be bad (it wasn't) but damn did it clean up the swirls and a few marks. Ordered a blend mount but got the wrong part, so that's on return and needs swapped.

  2. Thought I'd add these brake flex hose part #'s for the drum brake SS trucks (2006/2007 classic, as well as the RWD-optioned 2005's) as I don't see them listed in here, and deciphering all the crap on Rock's website was a bit of a pain. I spent a lot of time staring at the list before I pulled the trigger and was still worried when they showed up if they'd be the correct hoses. Installed them yesterday and fit was perfect. Front left GM Genuine # 1761908 (19366695) - identical to original hose except the bend where it goes to the caliper looks different, but it fit with no issue. Front right GM Genuine # 1761909 (19366696) - identical to original hose except the bend where it goes to the caliper looks different, but it fit with no issue. Rear center GM Genuine # 1761411 (19366712) - identical to original hose including comes complete with the frame bracket. Looks like it's Chinesium though and this one actually came with an ACDelco label on it instead of GM Genuine.

  3. Does anyone have recommendations for insurance companies for 2003 Silverado SS? I am having a hard time finding a new carrier that will will cover its value. I have all labor and hardware receipts for the mods from 2018/2019. They total close to $25k. So I figure it needs to be insured for $45,000k. Thoughts?

  6. Just noticed you are from Minnesota. That truck must have been kept indoors during the winter. I have seen SS's rusted up quite a bit from those salted roads. Check out this thread where a guy restored a SS (hard to believe they are old enough to need restorations now... )
