rico750sxi
Does someone know the torque specs for these following things: 1. Steering knuckle to spindle bolt 2.CV joint to front axle bolts 3. Ball Joints 4. Front spindle nut(the big 36MM one). 5. Anything else on the front suspension I'm forgetting for the spindle change. BenKey
Might be able to give you specs for a '99? The instructions should have all of that.
rico750sxi
I'll take the specs from the '99 if you can find them. I'm hoping the instructions have specs but ai've encountered it too many times where they just say"torque to factory recommended specs". Just looking ahead. Supersport, I will post many pics of the install.

rico750sxi
Zippy, you are the man! Thanks a ton. I'll have to check with the guy I borrowing the torque wrench from, it may only go to 150 lb ft.

rico750sxi
Yeah, I figured it'd be okay. Hell, before I did the load leaf flip I never even used a torque wrench for any of my installs/modifications to my vehicles.

Hell, before I did the load leaf flip I never even used a torque wrench for any of my installs/modifications to my vehicles. Uhh, whats a torque wrench?? J/K Please do post pics of the spindle install. I'm actually considering lowering if the spindles work well. You guys think it would be OK to do 2" drop spindles in front and then crank the torsion bars up to make it a 1 - 1.5" drop? I don't really want to go too low because I like being able to slide under the truck to work on things without jacking it up.
rico750sxi
The only problem I would see is with the rear. It may be too low in the rear then.
