This will be totally legal with paperwork and all so its legit thru a GM dealer, unless there is another option besides the dealer. EXGM Posted February 25, 2018 Report Share Posted February 25, 2018 (edited) It is pretty easy. When I worked at a dealer we typically charged an hour to replace and program one. That was about 8 years ago when there were tons of these and the clusters were dropping like flies. I know you can do it with a Tech 2 diagnostic tool. Not sure if any other tools can.
