Brian860
I recently purchased a 2003 SS and I love it! However, it rides like a boat so I am trying to figure out the best shocks to go with. The truck currently has blue and yellow Bilsteins and is stock ride height. Should I replace with the same or go with the belltech? What's the best option? Part numbers? CZBLK04SS
I had the same issues when I got my SSS, I bought the Belltech 2" drop kit. It came with their Street Performance shocks, spindles and shackles. I've had them on for about 8 months and I'm very happy with the ride of the truck now. 2" Drop kit: 678SP Front shocks: 310400 Rear shocks 2212FF. jsanders347
I'm at stock height and love my Bilstein shocks. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
hrlyhnx
anyone else to chime in? sounds like bilstein for factory height and/or belltech if you want a 2" drop? My 03 makes me sea sick with worn out OE shocks at 76K miles and am wondering the same thing. I read great things about the belltech but my mechanic is a huge fan of the bilstein (BMW fanatic)
1981evildisco
I have bilstiens in the front and QA1s in the rear. The fronts are a little soft(only a couple thousand miles on em). The rears are double adjustable and I love em. Stock ride height
Blown 346
My old one was factory height and my Bilstiens were great. The truck cornered well and didnt float around. But yours sounds like they are worn out.
