EXGM
Why not call a local wrecking yard?
Luis@Ovscustoms
Why not call a local wrecking yard? No one has one. Ended up ordering online after finding out GM discontinued the part.
eberhama
Be careful...I did a search on on our 2 systems nationwide, and all the trucks that were listed as having a 9.5, and showed the VIN, were inventoried incorrectly. They were all 8.6's. Only 05-07 got the hybrid axles. Run the VIN of the truck they have and make sure it was an SS, V-Max, or had the AXN option. I received the axle today and it was incorrect. Fit loose on the ring gear end it. One on the left is the one I removed my truck. On the right is GM #88967013 Hopefully dutchman axles can make me one Edited October 20, 2017 by Luis@Ovscustoms (see edit history)
eberhama
That sucks...the part number I came up with is: 88967013 for the 9.5", 12479285 for the 8.6". The cheapest I could find a complete axle set up was $650, so hopefully dutchman is cheaper than that. American axle & manufacturing(AAM) made the axles for GM, wonder if they could find/make one? 1FASTBRICK
Luis, did you ever get a set made??? FWIW for others looking for this info. Dutchman can and will make you a set of axles for less than the cost of 1 new axle from GM when they were available. I sent them an axle from this application back in 2011 and had them copy it. When they ask what it's for they never seem to remember the application and want you to fill out a spec sheet. I believe my invoice number was 60376 so they can look it up. Luis@Ovscustoms
I ended up being able to save my axle. Took it to a machine shop. Thank you
Petes_06_SS
I'm in the same situation, done a lot of research. But I need the axle length, I've found so damn many 6 lug 33 spline axles. I've seen 33.02 inches all the way to 33 and 9/16 inches, and everything in between.
