It looks like bare plastic to me.) It will take some filling to match the finish of my OEM part. Thanks for the link (Just added it to my watch list). Yes I would agree it looks to be bare plastic, I need to find a good paint guy in San Diego. One of my employees backed her Beetle into my SSS, bent the rear bumper brackets and chipped/ spiderweb-ed the paint. I need to order a new bumper cover and brackets as well.
