someotherguy
So the original taillights on the wife's '06 SS were looking crummy, with the clear outer portion separating from the red like they tend to do over time. Passenger side was really gross with a bunch of dirty water trapped between. Figured I'd try some TYC copies of OEM as I've had decent luck with their quality in the past. For a little less than half the price of OEM it seems a reasonable risk. $100 and change for a pair of new lenses not too bad. Sure there's cheaper in the other aftermarket brands but I'm not going to risk wasting money on those. Got 'em in and they look perfect, fit perfect. Didn't bother with pics, 'cuz, well they're just OEM copies ya know? Will be using this post as a "place marker" of sorts to see how long they hold up. Downeast Johnny
I'm in for long term results. I sprung for what now passes for OEM a little bit ago but haven't installed yet. After I bought them, I read that the OEM replacements aren't up to the quality of what the truck came with. Hope your TYC's work out great. zachm89
I picked up some TYC headlight, turn signal/running light and fog light housings for my 06 hd about 6 months ago. So far so good.
