uninformed Posted May 4, 2017 Report Share Posted May 4, 2017 working on my 496 Ho mercruiser,,the fuel rail rusted real bad on the inside. so i bought a take off rail from fle-ba y that has injectors in it. injectors i took out were delphi 17113739 and injectors in the rail are delphi 12574927.... My question is will they even work or will i have to get my original injectors cleaned or even buy new ones and the rail regulator dosent have a vacuums hose connection (on the replacement rail) Am I all mixed up ? chpspecial Posted May 9, 2017 Report Share Posted May 9, 2017 Looks like the eBay rail you bought is from an 8.1l truck engine with 32# injectors. Looks like you will need marine injectors if you want plug and play. The rail also came from a latter truck with returnless fuel rail.
