1981evildisco
My fellow SilveradoSS bros, I'm currently coordinating with a company in California to get the Following parts re-made: Radiator Shroud- $199 3 piece engine cover.- $ around 500 They used to make these parts but don't anymore due to a drop in demand. They are willing to make them however. They are also willing to make ANYTHING out of Carbon Fiber in their modern dedicated facility, problem is the initial set up cost for the parts($600)(for parts they haven't made before) I am considering having some parts made but would like to gauge interest so that we may all benefit. The parts are: 1. Dash bezel 2. SS brake ducts 3. Bumpers 4. Grill inserts 5. Dash board(top piece) 6. Electrical box/cover(underhood) 7. Intimidator spoiler That's all I can think of at the moment. If a group of us could pitch in for the set up fee then we could directly order from the company. The below link is to their website so you can see the quality. All the parts are made in USA. http://www.finishlinecomposites.com/products.html Feel free to share this post with others on other forums. For more info PM me. I am already working with a gentleman there so if there are any questions please go through me so that work isn't replicated unnecessarily. [email protected]
Will definitely take a radiator shroud if you get this going. Probably would also be interested in the electrical box and cover.
1981evildisco
Awesome, again I'll keep everyone up to date. The more people we can get interested the better. I'll be getting with the company tomorrow to see what goes on.

1981evildisco
Update* Talked to my guy over there and apparently the molds were lost/destroyed for the rad shroud cover. So it'll be $600 for the mold plus about a hundred-ish for the part. If I can get enough interested parties to pay the set up fee; I will send over my rad shroud to the company to have it replicated. Would you guys be willing to split the set up fee?

1981evildisco
I'm going to look at getting the rad shroud done first. I'm going fro hit up NORCALSS to see if this is something he wants to partner with as once the molds are made the cost is significantly less. 1981evildisco
Everyone hit up NORCALSS at his site to show interest. I'm hoping he decides to carry the Carbon Fiber parts. The thing is this: It costs a set up fee to make the mold for the parts, once that's done it's done and all that they charge is for making the part.
