NWSSS
So, I ended up hitting a patch of black ice last week. Almost crashed head on twice, but thankfully steered out of it. Unfortunately the rear bumper took a hard hit. Any recommendations for cheapest place to buy a bumper cover? Preferably in victory red. Might need the whole bumper assembly. Wondering if i can do this for cheaper than my $500 insurance deductible...
someotherguy
You can score a brand new bumper (the actual metal bumper, as well as brackets, etc.) for just under $200 including shipping - eBay all day long. Sure it's chinese crash parts but you're never gonna see it under the cover, anyway. Now an SS bumper cover and cheap do not really go together. I wish you luck on that. Somebody here was selling new old stock covers (black) not too long ago but I'd be surprised if they have any left. Might find a red one in the for sale posts here; always someone selling cladding pieces and bumper covers. Are your step pads still good? Those will set you back a bit, too. psualumni
Take it to a quality body shop and pay the $500 deductible. You will have more than $500 into your truck if you fix it right. Parts, paint, body work etc. Sent from my STV100-1 using Tapatalk
