LED's

Recommended Posts

I am looking to change the instrument cluster color on my 1997 Chevy C1500 Pickup to blue LED's to match my stereo faceplate. I think the bulb stock number is 194 so i got that down and i think there are 7 bulbs to replace, the thing is where is a good site to buy the LED's from? and I included here a picture of the look I'm trying to get so I think that's the ice blue color LED's or would the regular blue LED's look better? Heres a picture of the exact model stereo of the JVC so you can see the color

Steve the GM Gauge Guy works on gauges and will swap LEDs but he normally works on 99-06 clusters which have the lights soldered in.

He is asking about a 97 and those are just replaceable bulbs and they are super easy to pull out and replace, and you dont even have to take part the cluster.

As far as LEDs go. Superbrightleds.com is a pretty good place. They have lots of options

Oh I didn't know that, Thanks Dan! Based on the above picture of the faceplate do you think aqua/ice blue would look better or just regular blue?
