I got a hero card not sure if there was more then one got it a couple days ago it was in mint condition came with 2002 dealership paperwork information kind of giving salesmen something to inform there Customer's what's coming soon also guidelines on how many SS Silverado's would be allowed to be delivered according to how many vehicles the dealership sells pretty sweet seeing how it all went down back then they really made it sound exclusive and hard to get.

Like any new product they were hard to get at first. Later in the life of the truck dealers couldn't give them away. I had many friends who drove them as company cars. When I worked in the field for GM we usually took from a dealer something that wasn't selling or something they didn't want. They were expensive for the day. Remember at this time there wasn't much performance excitement in a Chevrolet showroom. GM has just killed the f body off in 02.....

Crazy to think that was considered expensive back then and now looking at the price to buy a new truck now there another $20 grand and there still isn't even a New SS Silverado on the Lot for pretty much a decade.

I Still think getting rid of Pontiac & Oldsmobile was a bad idea even if they cut there models down making them more exclusive as to only making a 442 Hurst & Trans Am & Gto people would never stop buying them much like the Mustang Following there's guys that bought them when they first come out im not that old but those guys still buy them just like the Mopar guys and the Corvette guys I'm sure it was a corporate decision maybe even a financially Smart one just sucks seeing some legendary models go down with there Brand.

I vowed never to buy one but changed my mind. It came out nice and will be a nice piece to add to my collection of posters.
