Blown72chevelle
What's everyone using for stock size rotors and pads on 2003 Silverado ss ? I've heard good things about hawks pads but do they do good with stock size rotors? evildcustoms
I did the powerstop kit for on 05 tahoe in the front, bolts right up. Then i did the same kit for an 03 ss in the rear. Works good on the hills that i live on. Mine is a DD as well.
EXGM
This is very subjective and everyone will give you a different answer. I went with Baer rotors on the front and Factory pads. I love the combo!
someotherguy
Yeah depends on what you want out of it. Pad-wise: If you've got nice wheels and don't want them dusted up (if you don't keep that shit clean constantly, it will etch your wheels and ruin them) then go ceramic. I've used both Bendix and Wagner ceramic pads, Wagners more often but just put Bendix premium on my truck and they seem OK. They stop well, don't make noise, and don't make dust. If all-out performance is what you're looking for then there are a ton of aggressive semi-metallic options out there...and 10x as many opinions about which one to choose. These will dust the holy crap out of your wheels but will give you better braking performance. Richard
