Is there any way to fix thes before it becomes an issue!?? Like different fluid. Replace bearings and seals? Help is appreciated!! Aldofashow Posted January 24, 2016 Report Share Posted January 24, 2016 Fluid swap is normal maintenance but if it's acting up then I wouldn't wait til it breaks I'd just swap it out I had 172000 miles on mine and just swapped it out a month ago I drive it pretty hard and change the fluids a lot maybe be bought me some miles but the new unit was so much tighter and was a breeze to swap out cost around $800-$900 after I got my core money back. SScratch Posted February 12, 2016 Report Share Posted February 12, 2016 got mine from jasper engine and transmission. brand new with beffed up gears and bearings about 900 after core and came with a 100k mile warranty which was the biggest selling point. all trans/diff shops i checked out only warrantied the rebuild for 2-3 months or 10k miles.
