SJ GIO
06 Silverado SS looking to upgrade the front brakes and switch the rear drums brakes to disc brakes does anyone know where I could get a conversion kit and what a good upgrade is for the front
70chevy03ss
This topic has been ask a bunch of times. Personally I wouldn't do it. I had a ton of problems with my 03 Ss with disk brakes. Drums are so much better then disk. You would be better off finding a truck that has the disk rear end. It's a lot of work. Yes disk look better. I guess if you were to do it don't use stock stuff. Spend the money on Baer or wilwood
1BAD2K
I agree ^^^. I would use a quality rear disc kit. It would all be bolt on and is fairly straight forward. Just use high quality performance calipers and rotors.
