Still looking into that but it sounds like the weight of the truck (approx 4800lbs) is just too much strain on the manual transmission when it's hooked up to awd for launching. Given the choice would you rather have awd auto or manual rwd assuming you already have an awd ss? I know lots of guys have a 4x4 RCSB or rwd so awd would be pretty unique. I could just start stripping weight out of the truck. It'll never carry a load again but it could be possible to shave some serious weight from the truck with enough dedication. The sheet metal is light, but tail gate, bumper bracing/brackets, essentially it would be like a lightning where it looks like a truck but isn't really...
