fastbee
Has anyone put a subwoofer behind the rear seat in an extended cab? I don't want to lose the storage I have under my rear seats, and the JL Audio stealthbox for the console is pretty expensive. I haven't tried to get any real measurements but it looks there could be enough room for an enclosure behind the seat.
jddmj
There is absolutely no room behind the rear seats in these trucks. I have my amp mounted behind the seat, and its a tight fit. What you might try is a single sub, and only take up one side of the storage area, or run a prepowered subwoofer. Fairly cheap, and sound pretty. I would go with a one sided set up myself though. I loved the space, but I really like my stereo a little bit better. elijah
I have my amps behind the seat as well and its a real tight fit getting a sub in there might be pretty close to impossible I think.
