Vapor valve canister vent issues

I'm needing help. I have searched this site for threads on this but no luck. I got a p0455 code. I took the truck for a smoke test as this is what I read needs to be done to find said leak. So the test came back vent valve selnoid and purge valve selnoid. I went to the part store and got the vent valve selnoid because it was in stock and they told me those usually cause the other to show bad too. Now my question is where is this on the truck and does anyone have a write up on replacing them. I have been looking all over the internet for any info on this but have come up short. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have a 2003 Sivlerado SS.

Thx, I have seen that video but that's not the part that I have so it's a little confusing.

I have the second one on this page. With the small wire clip.

So does anyone know where it is?

When I got this code I started with replacing the gas cap, and that didn't fix the problem. Then I had a shop do a smoke test and the told me the vent valve under bed was bad. I replaced it, leaving it in the same location under bed and that still didn't fix the light. Finally I bought the purge valve that sits on the intake manifold and that got rid of my light.

I'd try changing the purge valve first, it cheaper and easier to do. And if you do the vent valve I'd try from under the bed first, before lifting the bed.

Thx, I got the vent valve that goes under the bed for free. I guess I will order the purge valve and try that. I guess it couldn't hurt to replace both. I wish there was a better write up or video on replacing it. My part looks like it needs 2 hoses to connect to it?
