1BAD2K
Have the tires been balanced lately? Have they been road force balanced?
Downeast Johnny
Plenty of potential suspects for your problem. As "The bad guy" mentioned, tire balance, separated tire ply's, assorted suspension parts, tie rod ends, ball joints, Pitman and Idler arms. Tire balance / ruined tire are fairly easy to have checked. I would climb under the truck and have someone turn the steering wheel back and forth while I looked for play in any joints. (Not fool proof by any means but easy to do). You can also jack the front end up one side at a time and jerk and shake the tires around while someone gives the suspension joints a look see. Or save yourself some aggravation and take it to a couple different shops for an estimate. Good luck.
JC03SS
Sounds like a wheel hub to me or flat spotted tires. Check the hubs 1st. Jack up the front and put your hands at 3 and 9 or 12 and 6 and push pull. If it has any slop that's not good.

1BAD2K
Very possible it's a wheel bearing/hub as mentioned. Thats my second guess lol.
Aldofashow
Also while your under there checkout your mounting holes for your lower control arms I notice mine getting long planned to weld a washer in place to prevent it from moving and causing the bolts to loosen
KY_SS
I have this same issue. I'm pretty sure it's the hub. Anyone know the socket size for the axle nut? Also the torque specs for the axle nut and three hub bolts.....or does that really matter in this case?
avtonomb
Axle nut 35mm. 177ft/lb. 3 bolts 133ft/lb (If I remember). Verify for yourself please.... Changed mine a few weeks ago. Give yourself plenty of time in case they're rusted in. My driver side was a pita. Pass side walk in the park. Double check the torque on the axle nut. Crucial for bearing reliability/longevity. SSaddiction
I had this on my recently acquired SS, replaced the pitman arm, idler arm, and idler arm assembly. All is well now!
Denaliguy
I've had this problem on my truck and it turned out to be bad cab mounts. It bounced terribly at 45-55mph on any road surface. I went through everything I could think of suspension wise and found a post on gmfs mentioning body mounts.
