1BAD2K
I am looking for someone who has the original wheels, and has done the ZO6 brake conversion. I am looking for the distance between the face of the caliper and one of the wheel spokes. Basically I need the clearance from the caliper to the wheel. I just came to the realization that the intro Wheels I bought might not fit over the Z06 calipers when I install those brakes. Thanks for any help. The rears fit fine, I've attached a picture of them.
Aldofashow
Could you get the clearance you need with the use of wheel spacers
1BAD2K
I think so. I hate spacers though lol. I might could get away with 4-5mm spacer.
B Cose
Hi everyone I'm a new member and the owner of a Ss Silverado. I spoke to Rudy, who I found on this site and spoke to him about the brackets he sales for the z06 brake upgrade. I also need to know if they will clear my stock 20in. wheels and if anyone knows if the setup can be done without a 15in. rotor. Thanks for you guys' help! 1BAD2K
The only other way to do this is to find the first set of caliper brackets that were made. Forget the guys name now but he sold them to be used with the 14" rotor that powerstop sells.
70chevy03ss
That's right. Wasn't it Ray?
JF-03-SS
That's right. Wasn't it Ray? No, Ray took the original brackets (guy from PerformanceTrucks.net IIRC) and made the new(er) style to fit the Baer 15" rotors vs the 14" powerslots. (Old Bracket on right)

B Cose
Ok. Thanks for the info. Do you guys know where I can get a good price on the Baer rotors and c6 calipers? And what about pads, what are you guys using?
JF-03-SS
Ok. Thanks for the info. Do you guys know where I can get a good price on the Baer rotors and c6 calipers? And what about pads, what are you guys using? eBay will prob. be your best bet. As far as the rotors, many of us got them from Ray (supersub) back in the day but he has not logged on since Feb. 2015 so NO idea where to pick up the one-Piece 15" rotors. I was running Hawk brake pads. Edited December 8, 2015 by JF-03-SS (see edit history)

(Old Bracket on right) These are the brackets that I just received from Rudy as well. Jeff good to see your still around, although I hate to see that you sold our SS brother...
