Which Taylor wires are you using?

Recommended Posts

Everyone here hypes up the Taylor 409 wires for use with headers. Which ones are you using? I have seen 2 types, 1 with straight spark plug boots and the other with 45* spark plug boots. I just pulled off my MSD's which gave me no trouble and are now on my brother in laws silverado. Just looking for something different that will not burn up on my headers. These are the 2 I am seeing.

My passenger side fit fine, the driver side want to hit on the middle 2 primaries so I want to get rid of these parts store wires with long straight boots and use MSD again or go over to Taylor that everyone here brags about. But like I said I don't know which boot everyone is using. Plus the 10.4 wires probably look amazing with how big they are! Just want to get the correct ones the first time.

Here are installed pics of the 79614. Not a single wire is close to any of the primaries and they are about an inch shorter to keep from bowing out as much. Nice firm click install and they look better than the Borg Warner ones with the ceramic boots!
