[email protected]
Finally had time to get my very old tires pulled off so I could get my wheels powdercoated. 22" Intro Prowlers powdercoated in Super Red Sparkle. New tires are 305/45R22 Nitto 420S.
1BAD2K
Looks nice man, but seems almost like a sin to coat over polished aluminum lol.
rickyrick562
Do you got a side shot of them on the truck? Not sure how I feel about these yet.

rcapone
The wheels are a really cool color, but IMO don't work well with the color of the truck. Either an exact match or good contrasting color/finish always works best Edited July 20, 2015 by L8ERBRO (see edit history)

[email protected]
Looks nice man, but seems almost like a sin to coat over polished aluminum lol. They were actually previously powdercoated black by someone before me, only the lip was polished. If they were still fully polished I would have probably left them alone. I don't have a side shot yet, will try to get one tomorrow when I drive it again. I was really somewhat disappointed in them at first honestly due to the color being so different, so I totally understand the mixed reactions. I was trying to get closer to a black base with much less red and a closer to matching color. They grew on me after a couple weeks and look a lot better in person. If it turns out I change my mind later I can always get them redone, it wasn't too expensive.

[email protected]
I've had 3 sets of Nitto 420S so far, needless to say I like them.

1BAD2K
Oh they look damn good for sure. How have you go a through 3 sets of 420s? Lol. I had a new set on my motoforge wheels, and even after 20K miles they still looked brand new.
[email protected]
I haven't gone through three sets, I had a set on my black truck when it got totaled, I had a set on the red truck when I bought it and just replaced them with another set since they were too old to patch. SuperSickSS
Is the truck dropped or stock with the 305/45/22?
