Installed a new Nick Williams throttle body on my tvs 2300 manga charger and under hard acceleration [18lbs boost @4000rpm] throttle blade slams shut ,but no codes just reduce engine power. clear codes and back driving again...need some help.

I'm pretty sure the NW uses the LS3 motor and I've heard some do have that issue, sorry to hear yours is one of them Eddie. I took my LS2 90 off and shipped it to TPIS last weekend. They use your LS2 motor and are supposedly guaranteed to work under high boost applications. You may want to look into that as well.

I'd say you'll probably have to buy theirs for $600 bones and ship them your LS2 90 as a core to build it. You may be able to return your NW due to the problem you're having or else maybe sell it. At least with the TPIS you won't have to worry about the slamming shut issue.

Ed - I looked over your tune file and all of your ETC tables are where they should be for the amount of air you are pulling into the engine. Since you didn't have any codes thrown, I figured as much but wanted to look over them once again. Your P1514 table isn't maxed out but your logs (and how we scaled your injector table and Ve) agree with the settings that are in there and will not trip the code. No codes thrown validate the settings.

Did you try from a dig? Log it so we can see the dynamic cyl airflow. I have your upper RPM numbers but not on a launch. You said it occurred around 4kRPMs correct? Is it repeatable or random?

After that, it must be a physical flutter with the TB blade that throws the REP.

Interesting finding with what L8ERBRO stated. Maybe he is on to something there?

I believe the problem is in the LS3 motor used by NW. Zippy and several others told me of the NW slamming shut which is why I decided on the TPIS. I know it's more money but it may be worth it...that may be what gets you into the 10's!

I've heard of a few people having those ls3 shut under boost. The ls2 opens opposite of the ls3, and is suppose to have a better servo motor. I'm running and ls2 in my truck. Cost a few more bucks then the gold ls3, but piece of mind.
