Hey guys, im new to the forum and forgive me if im not in the write section etc. I recently bought a one owner 05 silverado ss awd with 80k miles its a super clean garaged kept truck. Its all stock from what i can tell though havent had it long and had time to really check it out, its got good power although enough is never enough so i would like to play around with a tune and maybe intake and exhaust. i drive this truck everyday and pull a boat every once and awhile in the summer months so i cant get to wild as for as cam, stall, and such. But would like some advice on a good tuner and intake and exhaust gains, like is exhaust worth the gain, i like the way my stock muffler sounds and dont want it to loud as i drive it a good bit. Ive had rides to loud and its cool for a couple weeks then u wish it wasnt so loud. i cant find an awd dyno to really do some good tuning, Any advice would be appreciated.

Zippy tunes are great I always recommend him. As far a exhaust if you like it don't change it. There are a bunch of good cai on the market just pic one. A good set of obx headers and a cai with a good tune will def wake up the truck.

231-638-1981 if you don't get through send him a text and let him know your from the SS Site and what you want him to do. He's very busy and he will get back to you. I just talked to him a few days ago.

Headers, CAI, 2nd servo, transgo (optional but like crisp shifts), decent exhaust, and 93 tune. I always think it's best if you can find a local tuner. That way he can ride with you and log your truck, see what it's doing, and make adjustments. May pick up a few extra ponys that way. But, that's not to take away from any of the tuners on this board. I know zippy does too notch work and a pretty stock truck is easy to get running damn near perfect even without logging it.

Congrats on your purchase.
