rickyrick562
Ok so today the truck was running very good and then when I got on the freeway and kinda floored it to get up to speed I heard a pop(backfire). Now the truck is idling very rough and is throwing no codes. And ideas? Also when I'm at a dead stop and then go it shakes very bad.kinda like it is struggling to get into gear. Is it weird that it isn't throwing any codes?

Blown 346
I agree, It could be the MAF, plugs wires, cat, o2 sensors. It will eventually throw a code. Did you recently fill up with gas?? If so you could have gotten a bad batch.
rickyrick562
Yeah this happened as soon as I filled up Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
Blown 346
Sounds like bad gas then. You could always try and throw some seafoam in the tank, or some octane booster and see if that helps. Sometimes it does. Atleast its a start. rickyrick562
Yeah I'm gonna buy an octane booster and fill up with 91 as much as possible. I think I accidentally hit 87 Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
Blown 346
I have used 87 in the past and never had a issue other than really bad gas mileage.
