shopman1
Well after 11 years and only 26000 miles I put new tires on the SS. I felt it was time since we were going to take a trip with it. Did not want a blow out at 85 mph. Got to say this has been a great truck for me. Sot the tires lasted 11 years, the battery lasted 10 due to a battery tender, remarkable huh. It also inspired me to make the SS Bowties as well. I may never sell it! shopman1
Aldofashow
Shopman I've had my truck since 2006 and at 170000 miles my truck still has never left me stranded so keep up on the oil changes and your regular maintenance that has worked for you and I'll bet that truck will last a lot longer then you think. Now don't get me wrong I have done many repairs brakes suspension trans alt and many others but I don't really mind working on the truck it's gonna treat me as good as I treat it for instance I would never drive around with every warning light on the dash as I've seen many do that know nothing about cars like its no big deal until it's time to get a sticker I mean come on right. You see guys that never sell there bad ass car they bought right out of high school with there first job so I won't let anyone say you can't keep it forever cause you can you just have to decide which guy you are were all here still loving them so we'll see where the road takes us CHEERS
Downeast Johnny
The battery and tires didn't owe you anything, that's for sure.
cwest94
I still have the original factory tires on mine, but they are dry rotting like crazy and I've got less miles on mine then yours. I have it covered up in the garage for winter storage, so I'll wait until Spring time to get new tires. And I still have the shoman Bowtie I bought off of you a decade ago looking good still after all these years.
