GI.SS Posted November 21, 2014 Report Share Posted November 21, 2014 im looking into getting a decent head or port job to my current heads but do to my cam specs, i feel i am limited to what I can run effectively. What is everyone shooting for when it comes to dynamic compression 8-8.5? Here is my cam card. i think i keep running the calculator wrong. can Someone help me find out what CC i should be shooting for? 2003_SuperSport Posted November 22, 2014 Report Share Posted November 22, 2014 Most engines run good with a dynamic compression of 7.5-8.5 with a 91 octane or better... I wouldn't run anymore DC than 8.5 on premium pump gas or 11.1 Static compression without a octane assist like methanol injection or a race fuel...
