Silverado SS spotted in Minnesota

Recommended Posts

Okay so I have been seeing some Silverado SSs in Minnesota quite a bit lately and I thought I would say something to find out if any of these SS I have seen were anyone on this site.

First off, just seen a Black Intimidator SS on I-94 west bound side today near Saint Cloud. I also seen another one in Saint Cloud on Monday this week. Was a Red SS parked at a automotive shop or something. It had some funky looking dual exhaust system on it and it had bed rails mounted on it. Nice looking SS though.

I seen a red SS on US Highway 169 South a few weeks ago. It had some rusted out holes along the wheel wells in the rear.

I also saw a Black SS recently, looked like a 03 model, it too had rusted holes along the wheel wells in the rear.

I seen a 2003 black SS on I-94 last week and it had a topper on the bed, not a tonneau cover, a topper on it. Not sure if that person would be on this site because it looked like an older guy.

I also see a Red SS in Wisconsin right in the same area I live. Owner is right on CR M near Horse Creek.

I saw a blue SS on I-94 in Wisconsin a couple weeks ago near Hudson. There was a woman driving it though.

Also just saw a black SS at a traffic light near MN 13 by the construction zone. I drove right past it making a nice wide turn onto MN 13. It was night though so I didn't get a good look at the truck.

NOT ME!!!!! LOL... My truck would be in prestine condition... Rust holes arggg those poor trucks need to be put down like a lame horse.... haha... My truck isnt perfect... It has a few knicks here and there and it sits under a carport with a cover so it does get exposed to the elements sometimes if the wind is blowing... It does need a profeesional buff and polish... Any Takers????

Get a storage unit for it. That's what I did for mine. Mine now gets parked in a storage unit to keep it out of the weather elements and keeps it protected from critters and bugs now. Mine is a little dirty too and I plan to do a nice car wash job on it and then do a nice cut, buff, polish and wax job on it before the snow falls. I bought a nice maguiars polisher and bought the 5" starters kit for cut, buff, polish and wax job. Also bought a maguiars car wash kit. Got all of these for my SS, haven't used them yet. I will before I park my SS away in my storage unit for the winter.

I bought the carport for storage... Just havn't finished it yet... I have both sides up, just need to finish the back and install a garage door on the front... I used to store my truck about 15 miles from where I live at my fathers Shop in a fully enclosed industrial quonset hut. But he also stores boats and RV's and I was sick of moving my truck in and out in the fall and early spring... My truck Once touched snow on her shoes because someone wanted there boat out in March ERRRRRR... LMAO

I just spotted two Silverado SSs recently. A blue one in Willmar Minnesota at a auto parts store and last night spotted one on I-90 east in Minnesota heading towards LaCrosse Wisconsin. SS was right behind me and I was in my semi heading to LaCrosse Wisconsin to make a delivery for early morning today.

The Red SS coming down 169 with the rust would be mine. .

Plan on getting that fixed this summer :jester:

Well man I sure hope so. It kind of is crappy to see a nice SS with rust holes and being driven like it's just another vehicle to drive into the ground til it dies.

Fix up the rust and grab some Wheel Well Liners. Will not have to worry about the rust as much second time around.
